Built for an Active Retirement

In 1991, Chester Village West opened, giving Connecticut’s independent-minded, proudly self-reliant citizens a new way to experience retirement. For two decades, friends from Hartford to New Haven, Deep River to Old Saybrook and places in between have come here to find easy living and good-natured camaraderie in a relaxed, countryside setting.
