Hear residents express what their independent living community means to them. They truly love living here!
“We love life here and one main reason is the size of the community. It’s small enough that we know just about everyone. To say it’s one big family sounds corny, but it’s true.”
Cliff and Chris Vermilya
“Chester Village West is a splendidly civilized community. In this wonderfully bucolic setting, you can choose precisely the kind of life that suits your needs and preferences. You can swim, eat, knit, sing, walk, write, paint or exercise by yourself or in good company. The dining room is a fine place to socialize, and there are classes, discussion groups and committees you can join if you are so inclined. There are films, musical program and/or lectures six nights a week. If your own company is sufficient, you can take a sandwich or a book outside to enjoy in the pond-side gazebo, or simply close your door and settle in. At all times, you can relax because the outstanding staff handles all the necessities – housekeeping, maintenance, repairs and transportation if you need it–and, like the great crew in “Cheers,” everybody knows your name.”
“Very soon after moving to Chester Village West it became our new “home” as we were welcomed warmly into our new family community by staff members and other residents.”
